Golf Schools

The Academy Golf Schools are a great way of developing your game individually or with some friends over a selected number of days. Whether you want to improve your short game, swing or playing ability we can design a school to meet your requirements.

Day Golf Schools include:

  • 7 hours of instruction each day
  • Lunch each day with the Instructor at the Watershyppes Restaurant
  • Refreshments during your school
  • Full use of the practice facilities including the Par 3 Academy Course
  • Equipment analysis

Here are some possible elements for your Golf School:

  • Putting
  • Chipping
  • Pitching
  • Wedge-play
  • Bunker-play
  • Full swing
  • Course management, strategy and shot selection
  • How to practice

Here is an example of how your day could be designed:

Golf School Example:

1 day - 1 person for short game & swing

8.00am: Warm up on the range

9.00am: Meet with your instructor to discuss the day ahead

9.15am - 12.30pm: Full swing assessment using V1 Video Analysis in the Swing Studio, and range session

12.30pm: Lunch in the Watershyppes Restaurant

1.30pm - 4.30pm: Short game instruction on putting, chipping and bunkers

4.30pm - 5.00pm: Review of the day and action plan

Special Upgrades

Why not make the most of your time at the Palmerston Golf Academy and upgrade your Golf School to include a playing lesson with a professional or spend time with one of our golf specific consultants. These include a Sports Psychologist, Physiotherapist and Club Technician. For more information please contact the Academy Reception.

Residential Accommodation

For Residential Golf Schools an additional cost will apply per room per night for single, twin or double occupancy (including breakfast) and will change during the seasons. You will stay in Melbourne Lodge which offers 16 luxurious en-suite rooms all superbly appointed and all offering magnificent views over the impressive Brocket Hall. Breakfast is taken a short walk away in the Golf Clubhouse.
